Vietnam's Vingroup to invest ₹79,000 cr in Maharashtra over 2 yrs
Vietnam’s Vingroup will invest $8.5 billion (around ₹79,000 crore) in Maharashtra over the next two years, CM Devendra Fadnavis said on Wednesday. The investment will span projects across EV mobility, smart townships, renewables, tourism and social infrastructure, to be spread across about 5,000 acres in various regions of the state. The projects are expected to generate nearly 24,700 direct jobs.
