Vijay being probed over payment he got for 'Bigil' which made ₹300 crore: I-T

The Income Tax Department on Thursday said that Tamil actor Vijay is being investigated over investments in immovable properties and remuneration he received from AGS Group for 'Bigil', which collected ₹300 crore. The department seized ₹77 crore of unaccounted cash allegedly belonging to financier Anbu Chezhiyan. The concealment in this case is likely to exceed ₹300 crore, the department added.
