Vijay condemns MNM leader's 'prostitute' remark on his women supporters

Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president Vijay issued a statement after Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) member Ponraj Vellaichamy criticised the party as a bunch of "illiterate fools" and called its women supporters "prostitutes". He condemned the remarks and criticised the DMK government for taking no action against him. MNM is an ally of the Secular Progressive Alliance led by DMK.
