Vijay orders cleanup as ₹1,600 cr 'party fund' collected from liquor shops in TN

Tamil Nadu CM Vijay ordered crackdown on alleged leakages, unofficial collections and "party fund" practices linked to Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC). Sources said ₹102 crore was allegedly being diverted every month through unofficial "party fund" collections, with estimates suggesting that nearly ₹1,600 crore may have been diverted from the State exchequer over last five years.
