Vijayasai quits politics, to resign from Rajya Sabha on Jan 25

YSR Congress Party MP Vijaya Sai Reddy on Friday announced his retirement from politics and said would resign from the Rajya Sabha on Saturday. He said the decision to retire was "entirely personal" and without any pressure, coercion or influence, adding that going forward he will focus on agriculture. Reddy thanked PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah for their support.
