Vijaypat Singhania, former chief of Raymond Group, passes away

Vijaypat Singhania, the former Chairman of the Raymond Group and a recipient of Padma Bhushan, passed away in Mumbai on Saturday, aged 87. The announcement was made by his son and current Raymond Group chief, Gautam Singhania, on X. "All of us are deeply saddened and praying for his Sadgati," India TV reported, citing a Raymond Group spokesperson as saying.
