Vikram-1 to carry PM Modi's handwritten 'Vande Mataram' postcard to space

A postcard on which PM Narendra Modi wrote "Vande Mataram" will be sent into space aboard Skyroot Aerospace's Vikram-1 rocket. The rocket will become the first privately developed Indian rocket to attempt an orbital mission. Named after scientist Vikram Sarabhai, the seven-storey-tall Vikram-1 can carry small satellites weighing up to 350 kg into Low Earth Orbit.
