Vikramshila Setu safe: Bihar officials after 'false wall' collapse

The district administration in Bihar's Bhagalpur has assured that the Vikramshila Setu is structurally safe after reports that a protective "false wall" had begun collapsing. Officials said the damaged portion was non-structural and part of the construction phase. Engineers found no defects in the main bridge and confirmed that remaining temporary structures will be removed soon, officials added.
