Village in UP skips Eid celebrations, mourns Khamenei's death

Kintur village in UP's Barabanki set aside traditional Eid customs and observed mourning following the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei last month. There were no festive meals, no exchange of greetings, and no social gatherings beyond essential prayers. Syed Ahmed Musavi, grandfather of Iran's first Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Musavi Khomeini, was born in Kintur village.
