Village uses cotton & soapy water to make snow to attract tourists in China; apologises

Chengdu Snow Village, a village in Sichuan province in China, used cotton and soapy water to make snow after not receiving enough of it to attract tourists. "I think my intelligence has been insulted," one tourist said. The village apologised and said, "It [fake snow] did not achieve the result we had anticipated but left a bad impression among tourists.
