Villagers claim BJP workers inked fingers to stop them from voting

Residents of UP's Tara Jivanpur village have alleged that three BJP workers had "forcefully" applied ink to their fingers and gave them ₹500 in a bid to prevent them from voting in the final phase of Lok Sabha elections on Sunday. "They told us now you can't vote," a villager said. Authorities said action will be taken against the accused.
