World-renowned Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh sold just one painting in his lifetime, out of the 900 paintings, and 1100 drawings and sketches that he created. The painting, named ‘The Red Vineyard at Arles’, was sold for 400 francs in 1890. His other works started gaining recognition much later after his death.
