Vinesh arrives in Gonda for tournament despite WFI ban, insists she is eligible to compete

Despite being banned by the WFI recently, three-time Olympian Vinesh Phogat arrived in UP's Gonda for National Open Ranking Tournament, insisting she is eligible to compete. "Until a disciplinary hearing is conducted and the matter is decided, she cannot be permitted to compete," a WFI source told PTI. The WFI had banned Vinesh till June 26 for multiple breaches.
