Vinesh to contest from Julana as Congress releases 1st list of candidates for H'yana polls

Congress on Friday released its first list of 31 candidates for Haryana Assembly elections 2024. Wrestler Vinesh Phogat, who has joined Congress, will contest the elections from the Julana seat, according to the list. The party has also fielded former Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda from the Garhi Sampla-Kiloi seat. Haryana Assembly elections will take place on October 5.
