Violence in Parbhani after Constitution torn in front of Ambedkar statue

Violence erupted in Maharashtra's Parbhani after a person allegedly tore the replica of the Constitution book placed in front of Babasaheb Ambedkar's statue on Tuesday. Protesters called for a citywide bandh today, demanding that those who insult the Constitution should be punished. Incidents of arson were also reported and tear gas shells were fired to bring the situation under control.
