Vir Das meets IIT graduate working as driver in US, says 'He was laid off a year ago'

Vir Das recently shared a story about meeting an Indian, now working as a driver in the US. "He tells me he is a PhD, an IIT [Bombay] graduate and a scientist who was laid off a year ago," Vir wrote on Instagram. "I know first hand it's heartbreaking to feel like you're more than what you're doing," Vir added.
