Virat Kohli becomes first batter to score 8,000 runs in IPL history

Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) captain Virat Kohli has become the first batter to score 8,000 runs in IPL history. The 35-year-old achieved the feat during his 24-ball 33-run knock against RR in the IPL 2024 Eliminator on Wednesday. Kohli had made his IPL debut in 2008.
