Virat Kohli breaks record for winning most 'Player of the Match' awards in IPL among Indians

Former RCB captain Virat Kohli broke the record for winning the most 'Player of the Match' awards by an Indian in IPL history. The 37-year-old won his 22nd Player of the Match award in IPL for his 75*(42) in the IPL 2026 final against GT. With this, he went past Rohit Sharma's tally of 21 Player of the Match awards.
