Virat Kohli came to bat the same day his father passed away
Team India captain Virat Kohli came out to bat for Delhi in a Ranji Trophy match in 2006, hours after his father had passed away. The 29-year-old played a match-saving innings of 90 for his team before getting out due to an umpiring error. Kohli made his international debut in an ODI against Sri Lanka on August 18, 2008.
