Virat Kohli wins Player of the Match in an IPL final for 1st time

Former RCB captain Virat Kohli won the Player of the Match award in an IPL final for the first time after guiding RCB to their second successive title. Kohli remained unbeaten on 75 off 42 balls as RCB chased down a 156-run target against GT in IPL 2026 final in Ahmedabad. The award came in his fifth IPL final appearance.
