Former South Africa batter AB de Villiers said Virat Kohli would agree that he appeared "cocky and arrogant" when younger. De Villiers said that Kohli's high confidence was sometimes misinterpreted, including by him. He added that Kohli had much to prove early in his career but became more balanced as a person and a cricket player with age.
