Virgin Galactic adds $841 mn in value after Branson's space flight
Shares of Virgin Galactic surged as much as 22% in premarket US trading on Monday after its 70-year-old Founder Richard Branson became the first billionaire with his own space company to travel to space. The space-tourism company added about $841 million, lifting its valuation to nearly $11.8 billion. Virgin Galactic plans to begin flying tourists to space in early 2022.
