Payment card company Visa will lay off around 2,600 employees, or roughly 7% of its workforce, to improve efficiency, Bloomberg reported. The cuts will primarily affect the technology and product teams, CEO Ryan McInerney said in an internal memo. "AI is also helping accelerate this evolution and shape the way work gets done at Visa," he added.
