Visually impaired IAS officer Rajesh Kumar Singh has been appointed as the District Magistrate of Bokaro by the Jharkhand government. The National Association for the Blind (NAB) stated that Singh is the second visually impaired IAS officer to be appointed to such a post. Notably, he is among the 18 IAS officers transferred by the state government.
