India women coach WV Raman has named Gundappa Viswanath, Mohammed Azharuddin, and VVS Laxman as the "top three artists" of Indian cricket. Viswanath played alongside Sunil Gavaskar, scoring 6,080 runs from 91 Tests. Azharuddin played along with Sachin Tendulkar and scored 6,215 runs in 99 career Tests. Laxman played 134 Tests between 1996 and 2012 and scored 8,781 runs.
