Varun Grover's directorial debut 'All India Rank' is an easy watch

Grover, in this semi-autobiographical endeavor, captures the life of a middle-class family. Set in 1997, it is the story of a young man Vivek (played by Bodhisattva Sharma) preparing for his IIT exam. We soon realise this is his father's dream more than his own. While it feels like '12th Fail' at the first glance but the two films differ.
