Vizag Port handles 80 MT of cargo in 327 days, fastest in 92 yrs

Visakhapatnam Port (Vizag Port) Chairperson M Angamuthu said the port has handled over 80 million tonnes of cargo in 327 days in the current financial year 2025-26. The milestone is the fastest achievement of this scale in the port's 92-year history, he added. The port would achieve its target of 90 million tonnes during the current financial year, Angamuthu said.
