Vizhinjam port welcomes first mothership 'San Fernando'
India's first semi-automated container port, Vizhinjam International Seaport, welcomed its first ship, 'San Fernando'. Built at a cost of ₹8,867 crore by Adani Ports, the port is a milestone in Kerala's maritime history. It promises to boost industry, commerce, and tourism, creating over 5,000 jobs and supplying green fuel.
