V-Mart acquires e-commerce platform LimeRoad for ₹31 crore

Fashion retailer V-Mart Retail has acquired the e-commerce platform LimeRoad for a lump sum cash of around ₹31.12 crore. V-Mart said that as part of the acquisition, the company is acquiring assets worth ₹14.61 crore and assuming current liabilities of ₹36.26 crore. Founded in 2012, LimeRoad had raised over $51 million altogether and was backed by investors including Tiger Global.
