VO Chidambaranar Port to construct terminal for windmill blades

VO Chidambaranar Port Authority has said that it will develop an exclusive terminal for handling windmill blades and accessories. The terminal will feature two berths, with quay length of 470 metres, and backup area of 30 hectares for storage. VOC Port, Tuticorin primary and secondary hinterland also offers large tracts of land for setting up of windmill blade manufacturing plants.
