Vodafone Idea CEO to get no salary for his 3-year tenure

Vodafone Idea MD and CEO Ravinder Takkar won't be paid any remuneration during his current tenure of three years that started on August 19 last year, the operator said. His predecessor Balesh Sharma received a remuneration of ₹8.59 crore in 2019-20. The company will seek shareholders' approval for the appointment of Takkar at its Annual General Meeting on September 30.
