Vodafone Idea shares hit 52-week high after surprise profit

Vodafone Idea shares rallied 6% to hit a 52-week high of Rs. 13.68 on Tuesday after the telecom major reported a consolidated net profit of Rs. 51,970 crore. This turnaround was driven by relief in statutory liabilities for the March quarter. Revenue for the period increased 3% to reach Rs. 11,300 crore.
