Vodafone Idea shares rise 12% over $3.6-bn network equipment deal

Shares of Vodafone Idea rose around 12% to hit intraday high of ₹11.71 in early trade on Monday. This comes after the telecom company signed a deal worth $3.6 billion with Nokia, Ericsson, and Samsung for supply of network equipment. Notably, Vodafone Idea has scheduled an investor update call on Monday after Supreme Court rejected plea to recalculate AGR dues.
