Vodafone Idea to hike prepaid mobile tariffs by 20-25% a day before Bharti Airtel

Vodafone Idea on Tuesday announced that it is raising prepaid mobile tariffs by 20-25% and top-up plan tariffs by 19-21% with effect from November 25 (Thursday). This will help address "the financial stress faced by the industry", it said. Its announcement comes a day after Bharti Airtel said it will increase prepaid mobile tariffs by 20-25% starting November 26 (Friday).
