Voice opinions freely, but with respect: Bar Council chief to law students amid enrolment row
After Bar Council of India (BCI) briefly halted enrolment of NALSAR 2026 graduates as advocates, BCI chief Manan Kumar Mishra said law students can voice their opinions freely, but with respect. "Dissent is welcome in a democracy, public ridicule of constitutional institutions is often counterproductive," he stated. Notably, some students had opposed CJI Surya Kant being invited to convocation.
