Volkswagen plans to make components for Israel's Iron Dome: Report

German carmaker Volkswagen is in talks with Israel's Rafael Advanced Defense Systems to make components for the state-owned company's Iron Dome, the Financial Times reported. Any potential deal could see production at Volkswagen's Osnabrück plant shift from cars to missile defence components. The Iron Dome is designed to intercept missiles fired at Israeli territory.
