Volunteers provide water to 500 stray cats during heatwave in Greece

A group of animal welfare volunteers in Athens, Greece, are giving food and water to more than 500 stray cats every day during a heatwave, with temperatures topping 40°C. The volunteers check the cats daily for dehydration and ensure they stay hydrated. The group's president said any cat found panting is taken to a veterinarian.
