VE Commercial Vehicles, a joint venture between India’s Eicher Motors and Sweden's Volvo Group, on Friday reported a 44.3% year-on-year increase in sales to 5,068 units in December. Domestic sales of Eicher’s buses and trucks grew by 36.5% to 4,114 units, while exports witnessed a 117.4% jump to 837 units. Volvo trucks' sales rose by 2.6% to 117 units.
