Voodoo ritual goes wrong setting boat on fire in Haiti; 40 dead

At least 40 migrants have died after their boat caught fire off northern Haiti, a UN agency reported. Police said the explosion was caused by a voodoo ritual gone wrong. The fire started when a passenger lit a candle for the ritual, intended to bring luck. The Haitian Coast Guard rescued 41 survivors, with 11 hospitalised for burns.
