Vote theft turned into seat theft: Congress' Meenakshi after RS nomination rejected

After her Rajya Sabha nomination from MP was rejected, Congress leader Meenakshi Natarajan said what had earlier been "vote theft" had now turned into "seat theft". Alleging an attempt to "muzzle democracy", she said that the decision was not merely about one candidature but pointed to a "serious situation" in the country. She said party would challenge the rejection legally.
