'Vulgar' Saraswati idol without saree sparks protest at Tripura govt college

A group of activists staged a protest at the Government College of Art and Craft in Tripura over purported vulgarity in an idol of Goddess Saraswati being worshipped at the college premises. The protest was led by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and later joined by Bajrang Dal members. The protesters said the "vulgar" idol wasn't draped in a traditional saree.
