WA Premier pushes for direct Perth–India flight link

Western Australia Premier Roger Cook, on his fourth India visit, urged a direct Perth–India air link to boost tourism, education, trade and investment. Over 250,000 travellers already use indirect routes. WA, the world's largest lithium producer, also pitched film, space, and cricket ties, including a Big Bash League match in Chennai on December 12.
