Wadhwani AI gets $1-mn Google.Org grant to build AI solutions in agriculture

The Wadhwani Institute for Artificial Intelligence has received a $1-million grant from Google.Org to build AI solutions in agriculture sector. The institute will deploy AI models for "crop disease monitoring, predicting yield outcomes and bringing efficiencies to Kisan Call Centers", said Manish Gupta, Director of Google Research India.
