Wai Wai maker asked to stop bhujia namkeen production over violations

FSSAI has directed Wai Wai maker CG Foods India to stop producing Veg Bhujia Namkeen after inspection at Ajmer facility found alleged unsafe processing, unlicensed manufacturing and predated packaging. The regulator seized 32,107.2 kg of stock and detained 1,925 boxes of expired products. FSSAI also identified unlicensed manufacturing of 'Wai-Wai MaMa' and 'Wai-Wai Mama Punte' variants.
