Wait time for US visitor visa reaches 833 days in Delhi

The appointment wait time for non-immigrant visitor visa applicants for the US has reached 833 days in Delhi, according to the US Embassy in India's website. "Wait times may be longer for visa appointments at the US Embassy New Delhi and the consulates in Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Mumbai," the website says. It cites reduced staffing and numerous pandemic-related disruptions.
