Walmart asked to pay $125 mn for firing 16-year-old employee with Down Syndrome

A US federal court jury has asked Walmart to pay over $125 million in damages in a lawsuit that involved the termination of a 16-year-old employee who has Down Syndrome. The US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said Marlo Spaeth faced issues after her work schedule was changed, but, Walmart fired her instead of letting her revert to her old schedule.
