Walmart CTO Suresh accused of replacing US staff with Indians

Walmart CTO Suresh Kumar is being criticised in US after social media users claimed the company will replace its 1,500 laid-off employees with H1-B-visa holding Indians. "Over 40% Walmart IT department is H1-B from India. Coincidence?" a user said. Some users claimed Walmart issued 3,800 H1-B visas weeks before layoffs. Kumar is a Bengaluru-born PhD-holder with 25 years of experience.
