Walmart to hire 1,000 people for technology roles in India

US-based retail giant Walmart is planning to hire about 1,000 people for technology roles in India to hold off competition in the country. Walmart already has technology operations in Bengaluru and Gurugram with currently over 1,800 employees. It comes at a time when Walmart is also looking to fill the positions of CFO, legal counsel, and compliance officer at Flipkart.
