Walton family wealth surges $3.3 billion after Walmart results

The collective fortune of the Waltons, the world's richest family, surged $3.3 billion on Tuesday after Walmart reported its fourth-quarter results. Shares of the world's largest retailer rose 2.2%, boosting the wealth of the founder's family to $175.2 billion, according to Bloomberg. The family's net worth has increased by more than $14 billion since the start of the year.
