Wangchuk explains why he softened his stand on Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation
Activist Sonam Wangchuk has said that during his negotiations with the government over ending his hunger strike, he softened his stand on Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation and instead demanded that protesters not face legal harassment. He explained that he believed Pradhan's resignation would happen eventually, as others were demanding it too. Pradhan resigned on July 25 after students' protests.
